How To Change Password On a Chromebook

Steps to Change Chromebook Password
- Open Chrome.
- On the upper right side, click on your profile picture.
- Click on the Google Account option.
- Login & Security should be selected.
- Sign in to Google by scrolling to the bottom.
- Click on Password.
- Select Next after entering your current password.
- Change Chromebook password and log in
As soon as your new password has been entered, sign out of your Chromebook and then sign back in. You will be required to enter your old password first when you log into your Chromebook for the first time after changing your Google Account password. A new password will be requested twice by the Chromebook.
Adding a new password will allow you to log in to the Chromebook and use it. Your local store will be deleted if the old password is not entered. Normally, this is how things work.
